We’re getting under the skin of Osteoarthritis

The pain from osteoarthritis (OA) of the hip or knee can be difficult to manage. People with this condition feel the pain differently, describing it for example as a dull persistent ache or sharp stabbing pains on movement, or both. Others describe it as a burning sensation, or a feeling of bone rubbing against bone. Nearly ¾ of people with osteoarthritis report constant pain and  people retire early, give up work or reduce the hours they work because of this condition*.

If you live with osteoarthritis of the hip or knee, you will know the limitations this can have on your day to day activities, making you slow down and become more dependent on others.

If this is you, we invite you to find out more about clinical trials into these conditions.
