The pain from osteoarthritis (OA) of the hip or knee can be difficult to manage.
People with this condition feel the pain differently, describing it for example as a dull persistent ache or sharp stabbing pains on movement, or both. Others describe it as a burning sensation, or a feeling of bone rubbing against bone.
