The North Tees Clinic
"Hello, my name is Julie Rowbotham and I am the Manager at the North Tees Clinical Research Centre. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I invite you to read more about the clinic below and I look forward to welcoming you here in the near future."
Don’t be fooled by the overwhelming presence of big industry in the Teesside region, home to the Synexus newest site in Stockton on Tees. Hosting many global chemical manufacturing facilities, which employ several thousand people, Stockton is only a few miles south of the beautiful university town of Durham, land of the Prince Bishops and less than 30 minutes’ drive from the stunning hills of North Yorkshire, popular with cyclists, walkers and outdoor pursuit enthusiasts.
Nestled in the middle of some of Britain’s most beautiful countryside and coastal regions, Stockton is a thriving town with an array of shopping and recreational opportunities. Stockton has the largest outdoor market in the North East of England which has been in existence since the 1300’s.The town has a number of public parks and nature reserves most notable Roper Park which is a Victorian style park located on the outskirts of the town opened in 1893 and renovated in 2007.
Synexus continues to grow in the UK and specifically in the North East of England. Hot on the heels of the successful development of our Hexham site, we are delighted to announce the launch of a new research site at North Tees Hospital, Stockton on Tees. The hospital provides emergency care, planned medical and surgical care, maternity services and a wide range of diagnostic services including CT and MRI scanning.
This will be the 9th Synexus site in the UK and marks a key strategic collaboration with the University Hospital of North Tees, another productive partnership with the NHS.
There will be 8 consulting rooms as well as a laboratory and offices.
Work is already well underway to begin the patient recruitment process from primary and secondary care.
