We’ve moved! The launch of our new state of the art Wales Site

“The opening of our new Wales Site is an exciting and much anticipated development for Synexus.” John Jones, Manager of the Wales Site

The day has arrived – it’s the official launch of our brand new state of the art site in Cardiff, Wales. We will of course be sharing our celebrations with you, but first we wanted to tell you a bit more about our history in wales!

Where it all began…

Synexus first opened the doors of the Cardiff Research Site back in 2002. Since that time, the team have seen thousands of local patients who have volunteered to take part in a variety of clinical studies.

As more and more Patients expressed an interest in our work over the 13 years that followed, we started to outgrow our Site in Llanishen , and so, during 2015 we decided it was time to move!

So after a long search and much deliberation, we found our new home…

Needless to say, we’re pretty pleased with it! For starters the new Site is 3 times larger than our old one and includes a large cutting edge laboratory. Even better than that we have 10 spacious consulting rooms and a sleek yet comfortable waiting area for our patients to enjoy a hot drink or breakfast.

We’ve included some photos so you to make your own mind up – we’d love to hear what you think. Send us a message www.twitter.com/synexusclinics  or www.facebook.com/synexusuk

Today’s celebrations

Moving onto our celebrations today; John and his dedicated team of Doctors and Nurses are joined by the Synexus Management Team as well as a number of key players involved in Welsh clinical research. We’ve also invited along Welsh Assembly Member Dai Lloyd (Chair of the Health, Social Care and Sport Committee in Wales) to celebrate the day too.

Our visitors are off to enjoy a tour of the Site and enjoy a lunch in celebration.

Its an exciting day for Synexus, and one that marks our committed to being at the forefront of clinical research and helping to bring more clinical research to Wales.

We want to put Wales on the map and firmly establish it as one of the leading locations to conduct clinical research!
